Everyone knows eBay. This pioneering, multi-billion dollar company is a household name and an Internet innovator. But even well-established companies need to stay on the ball, and eBay saw mobile messaging as an opportunity to engage customers in a new way.
eBay partnered with Swyft to launch a campaign on Kik, a popular messaging platform, that would drive brand awareness and engagement with potential customers. Just as importantly, the campaign used themes to connect those users with products they may want to buy, and did so in a fun, low-pressure way.
